Classicfabs Terms and Conditions
(In addition to your statutory rights)
1) All Classicfabs Jaguar and other systems related products manufactured, are designed to fit original Jaguar and other systems and mountings. While every endeavour will be made that our systems will fit cars with ‘aftermarket’ products / systems on a car, (we have to be informed especially if you have an uprated torsion bar) on your Jaguar of these prior to manufacturing a Classic Jaguar system. Please advise if any parts have been upgraded or altered e.g., engine mountings, torsion reaction plate, gearbox, sump etc.
2) The part that has the most influence in the fit of a Classicfabs system on a classic Jaguar is our Long Manifold and where it passes between the torsion bar and the sump. We assemble all our manifolds on a replica engine / chassis arrangement with a 20mm torsion bar therefore we know that this component has acceptable clearance. It is incumbent on the customer to ensure that his engine mounts are in good condition and that the engine is sitting squarely / level across both mounts or you could have the Long Manifold touching the torsion bar. Classicfabs cannot be held responsible if this part of your engine is not mounted properly.
3) If car is being fitted with our Catalytic Converter and has or is going to have EFI (Electronic fuel injection) fitted we need to know
Classicfabs will not be liable for any costs incurred or alternations required, if necessary, upon failure to advise us of any modifications made to your vehicle.
4) Classicfabs reserve the right to alter the design of a manifold, or any part, to improve its performance, or fit at any time, without prior notification.
5) As all our systems are made to order, we require a 30% deposit of total payable sum to confirm an order, unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in advance. A deposit invoice/order confirmation will be sent to the customer for checking prior to system being added to our manufacturing schedule. A final invoice will be sent when system is ready for dispatch, with dispatch only being made when outstanding balance has cleared our account. We only accept payment by bank transfer. Unfortunately, due to Government Legislation regarding credit card fees we are no longer able to accept payment by card. Classicfabs WILL NOT be liable for any bank charges imposed by customers own bank when using bank transfer.
All goods will remain the property of Classicfabs until payment received in full.

Guarantee
All our systems are guaranteed, for one year from date of purchase, from any manufacturing defects only and does not include damage caused by customer during fitting or normal use. Customers ordering a system with Classic Car Catalytic Converters must ensure that their engine is in good condition with no oil or coolant leaks to exhaust, and fuelling system is set up properly to manufacturers recommended settings prior to system being installed. It is very important that the engine and fuelling system is tuned correctly, or it can have a detrimental effect on how the converter works and could lead to failure. As Classicfabs have no control over the Classic Cars fuelling or engine systems we cannot offer a guarantee with them. If they are damaged they must be returned to Classicfabs for inspection. If we find fault with them that we deem is a manufacturing issue they will be replaced, or a refund given. These components have been thoroughly tested and should give no problems if installed correctly and engine systems maintained properly.
Classicfabs will not be held responsible for any damage or injury to third parties or property caused by improper installation of exhaust system. Customer to confirm correct installation if using restorer or third party to install (fitting instructions are supplied).
By ordering a system as quoted customer is agreeing to terms and conditions, all, as stated above.
